With a desire to push the boundaries of design, Adam Dorfman has the unique ability to take even the most commercial brands and create dynamic and exciting customer experiences.

Working with some of the most creative and talented names in the fashion world, Adam has amassed a portfolio of work that speaks to his personal sensibilities, but is also tailored to the individual needs of his clients.

Inspired by abstract, expressionist, surreal and street art, Adam has a love affair with the fantastical and weird. Adam honed his eye as a shopper and traveler – scouring the flea markets and antiquarians from Los Angeles and Paris and everything in between. Compelled by the use of that which “doesn't belong,” Adam relies on bold color and the use of unpredictable proportions to stir emotion and connection to the spaces he designs.

Barneys New York, Decades, Kelly Wearstler, J. Crew and Juicy Couture have been just a few of Adam’s clients. Knowing that retail spaces serve as a stage for brand DNA, Adam approaches this work pragmatically with the understanding that functional, usable space can’t be too precious. Adam’s work extends beyond the retail and fashion space having worked on set design and home interiors as well.

Adam’s work has been recognized in DDI Magazine.
